What do you think about Cross Country?

On September 25th Paihia School did Cross Country. First we ran around the field. Then we jumped over the fence. After that we ran on Mr Ngata’s right then we went forward and took another right then we took a left and went up a hill. We went up two bumps until we reached Laura. Then we went back down the hill. Then we passed Mr Ngata’s left. We went forward and took a left. Then we jumped over the fence again and ran forward. After the race I felt like I needed a walking stick.

THE HUNT

On Friday 28 August we did a treasure hunt. We had to run around the whole school and find prizes and if you found gumboots with numbers then you had to bring it to the principal and at the end she would tell us what we won. We could win headphones, Eskimo pies and some balls.

MATHS SHIVAM

Te Maunga we have been doing probability DLO’s. In the activity we had to roll two dice and see what number it fell on. For example, if you got 1 and 3 that doesn't make it 13 it makes it 4. If you were on that number you had to move down. The activity was called Horse Racing. I learnt that the smaller the numbers are the easier they are to get.

In Te Maunga we have been making dioramas. Titanoboa used to be the biggest snake to ever live. The reason and dinosaurs died out is because of a volcano.
